Neck: Mahogany neck with a "v" profile, 1 11/16" wide nut, ebony fretboard, 16" radius, and diamond inlays
Neck Thickness: .81 at the 1st fret, .90at the 12th fret
Pickups/Hardware: Martin open-back tuners, no electronics
Cosmetic Condition:This 2002 Martin HS-28V is looking great. The top of the body has some small nicks and dents. The sides have some minor wear, as well as a small spot where the lacquer has began to peel on the treble-side bout. The back of the body has faint buckle wear. A crack on the heel has been repaired but remains visible. The neck and headstock are in good shape. The headstock has minor hangerwear and edgewear. This Martin HD-28V is stellar!
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.
Modifications/Repairs: The endpin has been modified to accommodate the pickup. The pickup has been removed but the jack remains installed. The heel crack has been repaired, the bridge has been reglued. The nut and saddle have been replaced.
