Seymour Duncan Antiquity Series

Seymour Duncan Antiquity Series pickups have the look, feel and classic sound of vintage pickups. Hand crafted in Seymour Duncan's Santa Barbara custom shop using the same materials and techniques as the originals that have become so iconic, these "new" pickups are as close to the real thing as it gets. Each pickup is delicately handled to replicate the unmistakable tone and look of truly worn pickups- something that couldn't be done with a mass production process.

Seymour Duncan Antiquity Gold Humbuckers

Seymour Duncan designed Antiquity Series Gold Humbuckers to look and sound like a well-worn 1950s PAF humbucker, built to traditional standards with each pickup having its own character and DC resistance.

Specs:

DC Resistance-Bridge: 8.52kohms
Inductance-Bridge: 5.12 Henries
Magnet: De-Gaussed Alnico II

Features:

Construction: Plain enamel wire, Alnico II bar magnet with a wooden spacer, butyrate bobbins, black paper tape, vintage-style single-conductor cable, and long-legged nickel-silver bottom plate. To be true to the original design, the pickup is not wax-potted, which gives it a slightly microphonic "honky" quality.

Sound: True vintage PAF: Warm, full, bright, and mellow, with smooth sustain and relatively low output.

For: PAF aficionados with vintage-looking Guitars.

Instrument: Brighter-toned instruments; not recommended for use with ultra-high-gain tube amplifiers over 50 watts.; Antiquity pickups especially enhance the well-loved appearance of old Guitars.
