Body: Maple

Neck: Maple neck with a “c” profile, 1 9/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 16” radius, and split rectangle inlays

Pickups/Hardware:Gold tuners, two humbuckers, three-way pickup selector switch, eleven organ mode switches, sustain knob, independent volume and tone controls

Cosmetic Condition: This 70’s Ventura Barney Kessel Organ Guitar is all you need to turn your band into a gospel choir. The sunburst finish is in pretty great shape, just a few light dents near the outside of the face of the body. Some light buckle rash on the back of the body. There is some noticeable wear on the binding of the guitar. The switch tip is missing from the pickup selector switch. The neck is feeling good, just a couple of small dents in the finish, but no cracks or fractures near the headstock. The headstock has some lacquer wear over the “Ventura” logo but is otherwise looking good. Go get your robe, its time to guitorgan.

Playability: The strings are nice and low and ring out clearly across the board. However, some of the contact frets do not produce sound.

Modifications/Repairs: A bar has been added to the back with holes drilled. The volume pedal has been replaced.
