SolidGoldFX Surf Rider IV Spring Reverb Pedal Pacific Peach

£159.00

Designed to fit right in with our offering CME Exclusive Pacific Peach Fender guitars, straps, and Pacific Peach Kyser capos, the new SolidGoldFX Surf Rider IV Spring Reverb pedal comes packed with three distinct spring tank emulations evocative of sunlight and sand!

The Surf Rider IV brings the surf and sand in a ground-up redesign that packs 3 distinct spring tank emulations, based on some of our favorite vintage spring-laden pieces. The available reverb modes include a tight tank, based on our 60s Reverberocket, the classic splash of our early silver panel Super Reverb and our SGFX fantasy tank, with a slightly exaggerated drip and decay for when you want Misirlou to sound certifiably otherworldly.

Housed in a compact package, with expanded controls and added features like soft-touch bypass switching with trails, selectable momentary or latching modulation and top mounted jacks, the Surf Rider IV is guaranteed to satisfy like a cool breeze in the sweltering heat. So, plug in honey bunny, crank it up and get your Dick Dale on!

Compact Spring Reverb pedal with modulation

3 distinct spring reverb tank emulations
Reverb-O-Rocket (left) – small and tight tank based on spring reverb found low-watt vintage combos and tape units
- Super Reverb (center) – classic 60s surf rock spring reverb
- Fantasy Reverb (right) – spring tank pushed to the limits with floppier springs and longer trails
- Flutter style modulation of the reverb trails – switchable between momentary or latching via internal DIP switch
Multi-function footswitch switches the pedal on/off when tapped and engages flutter modulation when held down
Compact enclosure and top-mounted jacks - for ease of pedalboard mounting
Switchable Trails/Buffered Bypass – selectable via internal DIP switch
Hand-made in Montreal, Canada

Sometimes the sequel is just better than the original - and that’s okay. It shows that the creator has learned something since the last dance, and boy have we learned a lot about spring reverb since our last Surf Rider. Therefore, we’re not afraid to admit that this is the best spring reverb pedal we’ve ever made. We just can’t wait for you to tap into all of the splashing, crashing and drippy magic inside our latest Surf Rider VI.

Whether you add just a touch for a little extra depth and space or if you like your rig soaking wet and dripping with the sounds of a crashing waves, nothing quite captures the vibe of surf and summer like a good spring tank. So, here’s how you operate your new favorite splash machine.

The pedal comes jam packed with 3 distinct spring reverb tanks, selectable via the 3 position toggle, each carefully crafted to give you the ultimate spring reverb experience.

Reverb-O-Rocket: Modelled after the shorter spring tanks found on our own ’62 Reverberocket and Space Echo, the Reverb-O-Rocket is designed to add depth and space to your sound, without soaking your rig. This tighter tank is crafted to emphasize the warmth of your guitar while maintaining a smooth and subtle spring reverb tail.
Super Reverb: Delivering the classic splash of our favorite 4x10 Fender, the Super Reverb is the ultimate amp style spring reverb emulation. Wider tails that bounce back and forth with that unmistakable metallic twerp. So get ready to be drenched in that classic 60s sound.
Fantasy Reverb: Put on your board shorts and dive into the Fantasy Reverb. If you like it soaking wet, dripping with ‘verb and splashy like a crashing wave, this is the one for you. A spring reverb where each characteristic of the attack and tail is pushed to physically impossible limits. Exaggerated decay, floppier springs and a thicker body are all there when you need to go to eleven.

Surf Rider IV’s Decay knob sets the amount of time your signal bounces back and forth in the spring tank. If you turn it up all the way, your signal will clang, twerp and bounce with a huge tail. Level controls the volume of the reverb (wet) signal while the Dwell control adjusts how lively your spring tank will be. Turn it up all the way and get lost in the clangy ambience that a spring tank is famous for. Alternatively, just turn it down to get a warmer ‘verb. While the Body control sets how chunky the reverb is. Looking for a huge, echoey tail? Crank it all the way up! Want the reverberations to cut through the mix? Turn it down.

Want to add even more movement to your surfing tones? Well Surf Rider IV also has you covered. The multi-function footswitch not only turns the pedal on or off, but when held down will activate a mild pitch modulation. Internal dip switches set the function of the bypass and modulation. The Speed and Depth of the modulation can also be adjusted to taste.

SolidGoldFX If 6 Was 9 mkII BC183 Fuzz Pedal Pacific Peach Effects and Pedals / Fuzz

SolidGoldFX If 6 Was 9 mkII BC183 Fuzz Pedal Pacific Peach

£151.00

If there’s one pedal that captures the history of sonic rebellion and the soul of classic rock, then the Fuzz Face is it. Bold and raunchy when fed power chords, velvety smooth and angelically soaring when presented with lead lines and with an almost too-good-to-be-true volume knob cleanup, which allows for the best clean tones you’ve ever heard, the Fuzz Face is truly a multi-faceted tonal treasure. Jimi Hendrix, Eric Johnson, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Pete Townsend all carved their undying legacy with this iconic fuzz machine and with our If 6 Was 9 MKII, you can instantly tap into those legendary tones or go far beyond to discover your own saturated signature sound.

It’s been at least 10 years since we launched our original If 6 Was 9 BC183 and improving on this solid design was no small feat. SGFX’s pedal pays tribute to all the players who contributed to the pantheon of rock, with specially selected components to get your mojo working. We put two BC183 devices in each one, which is widely regarded as a happy medium between the potentially mushy compression of germanium and the brash sawmill-like fuzz of silicon. The tone of the If 6 Was 9 MKII is just that - smooth and refined, without falling apart on chords and with loads of sustain on single-note work. The MKII includes all the soulful fuzz tones of the original BC183, but incorporates a variety of new features aimed at bringing this vintage inspired design into the modern age.

What really sets the new If 6 Was 9 MKII apart is the power supply. Fuzz Face tone has been whittled down to such a precise science that players now know what voltage at which they prefer their Fuzz Face to be run. Eric Johnson famously kept a box full of batteries drained to various degrees. We have equipped this fuzz with a variable voltage pump, supplying anywhere from 5 to 15VDC from a single 9V power source. No need for a box full of questionable batteries anymore, just set the knob to your preferred supply voltage and get as much fuzzy compression or meaty breakup you desire consistently, every time.

This, in conjunction with the bias control, will allow for any shade of fuzz ranging from gated and sputtery, to smooth and dynamic, then all the way to bold and punchy. The new saturate control trims the circuit’s input for better cleanup, signal chain integration or impedance matching, ideal for use with a wah pedal. Finally, soft-touch true bypass switching and top jacks really bring this fuzz face into the 21st century.

That was a lot of tech babble, we know. At the end of the day If 6 Was 9 MkII is just here to help you with what you do best: plugging in and rocking out!

SolidGoldFX EM-III Multi-Head Octave Echo Pedal Pacific Peach Effects and Pedals / Delay

SolidGoldFX EM-III Multi-Head Octave Echo Pedal Pacific Peach

£159.00

Welcome to the new SolidGoldFX EM-III Multi-Head Octave Echo; the smallest, most powerful and by far the most versatile SolidGoldFX delay pedal to date.

Building on SGFX’s Electroman Delay legacy, the EM-III manages to both echo the past, present and future. With EM-III’s wide-ranging yet ultra-intuitive control set, placing warm analog-voiced echoes, precise and modern delays, as well as experimental and futuristic sound designs, are all just a single stomp away.

At your feet (or fingers) you have a multi-head tape style echo, with the ability to add in a signal an octave lower to the primary delay head. This can result in dancing, rhythmic delays with body and gravitas, as well as bold washy soundscapes. These two core features are controlled via a single mini-toggle. Flick it left to select between 1, 2 or 3 delay heads or flick it right to toggle the octave effect on and off. From there, just set your Delay Level, Repeats and Time via the knobs or tap in your preferred tempo via the soft-click tap tempo switch and let the good echo times roll.

The EM-III also sports delay modulation introduced via the Flutter control. Keep it at center position for no modulation. Dial it left for a slow and dreamy chorus-like modulation or right for a faster vibrato, letting you create lush oceanic movement, tape-style crinkles, eerie tension and beautiful dissonance.

The color knob allows you to engage both high-pass and low-pass filtering. Dead-center you have a pristine full-frequency digital delay. Dial it to the left and you cut the highs, creating warm, murky analog-esque repeats. Dial it to the right and you suck out the lows for crisp and bright tape-style repeats or super thin lo-fi delays.

The EM-III also brings interactive warp and glitch features to the tonal table by pressing and holding either Tap, Bypass or both at the same time. Hold Tap to increase the repeats until self-oscillation, creating a swelling wall of sound. Hold Bypass to replicate the sound of a tape motor on the fritz and a tape reel snapping, or hold both for glorious noise seances that will act as the perfect song/set closer.

Additional features include soft-touch, relay based, true bypass switching with the option of buffered trails, top jacks and up to a full second of delay time.

Multi-Head Tape Delay pedal, with Octave and Modulation
70 to 1000 milliseconds delay time with Tap Tempo
Color Knob - for crisp and bright tape echo to murky lo-fi analog repeats
Warp feature - for instant self-oscillation Wall-of-Sound Swells
Glitch feature - replicates snapping tape sounds
Switchable True Bypass/ Buffered Trails modes
Top-mounted jacks - for ease of pedalboard mounting
