Hybrid Cymbals With Striking Style And Tone

Meinl combines elements of their Classics Custom Dark and Custom Brilliant to create something entirely its own: the Classics Custom Dual Series.

What may look like dark-finished cymbals with lathed and polished edges are true hybrids, forged from B12 bronze alloy and carefully smithed for a low fundamental tone, warm and washy, comfortably positioned in any mix. 

Centers respond with complex overtones and a quick punch, much like you’d expect from dark-finish cymbals, but play it on the flexible, brilliant-finish edge and it erupts in a fast, explosive shout. These dual characters blend into a warm, dynamic sound equally fit for the stage or the studio.

Choose from 20” and 22” rides; 16”, 18”, 19” and 20” crashes; 16” and 18” trash crashes; 16” and 18” chinas; 14” and 15” hi-hats; 10” and 12” splashes; or grab a whole set, available in three- or four-piece boxes.

The ‘68 Customs have become an extremely popular amp series for guitarists who love classic Fender sounds along with toneful modifications that resonate with today’s players.

The ‘68 Custom Pro Reverb takes its cues from the original 40-watt model, improving its portability and tonal flexibility by reducing the cabinet size and weight, moving to a single-channel format and single 12” speaker, and adding a middle tone control. This refined and upgraded amp is the perfect size and volume for almost any gig, and may be the ultimate pedal-friendly platform.

The ’68 Customs have become an extremely popular amp series for guitarists who love classic Fender sounds along with toneful modifications that resonate with today’s players. 

At just 5 watts, the original Vibro Champ was famous for classic Fender tremolo, tube sparkle and killer grind at a reasonable level. The ’68 Custom Vibro Champ Reverb improves on this classic amp by adding hall-emulating DSP reverb and using a larger 10” speaker for increased low end. These additions make this little wonder perfect for rehearsal, home recording and even small gigs.

The lathed and polished edges have a flexible feel and create a fast response when crashed. Additionally, the dark center powers these cymbals to produce a quick punch with a complex character. The resulting sound is a harmonious blend of warmth and explosive response that will feel at home both in the studio and on stage. The full assortment of hihats, crashes, rides, plus a splash and china is rounded out with a trash splash, trash crashes, and a trash china to offer drummers all of the necessary voicings for a wide range of diverse musical styles.
