ORANGEWOOD | Del Sol Baritone
Meet the first Electric Guitar from Orangewood, now available at CME!
Since 2018, Orangewood has offered modern takes on timeless guitar designs, with tons of value and quality packed into each instrument! While their Juniper Live Rubber Bridge Parlor Guitar was the most popular entry point for most players familiar with the brand, Orangewood offers a full range of steel-string acoustics, nylon-string acoustics, and even Ukuleles! Now, Orangewood has teamed up with Josh Forest of TreeTone Guitars to introduce Orangewood’s first electric guitar: the Del Sol Baritone!
Two worlds collide to throw down!
A fresh take on the TreeTone Del Sol, the new Orangewood Del Sol Baritone pairs a chambered mahogany body with a single F-hole construction and creamy P-90 pickups to start off with the right balance of classic tones, resonance for days, and comfortable design! A 27.5” scale length provides the extended-scale low-end, while a roasted maple neck and 12” radius rosewood fretboard mixes instantly identifiable comfort with modern performance. The Del Sol is designed to be stage ready as soon as possible, with Grover Roto-Grip Locking Vintage Tuners, a Tune-o-Matic bridge, and TUSQ nut.
Finally, the Del Sol Baritone keeps a very special trick up its sleeve: put the pickup selector in the middle position, and the phase switch can be activated, helping you go from full-bodied P-90 fatness to quacky, scooped out of phase tones!
Seeing the Forest from the Tree(Tone)
Josh Forest is the brains and elbow grease behind TreeTone guitars, producing custom offset-style guitars inspired by ‘50s and ‘60s electrics. He has produced the Del Sol since 2019, with a keen eye for balancing timeless style and modern sensibility. It’s no wonder that Orangewood considered him a perfect collaborator for their first electric guitar!
Orangewood provides outstanding value, unique feel, and stage-ready performance for players of all stripes, and their first electric guitar follows that ethos to a T! Call, chat, or come in today to greet the (Del) Sol yourself, and grab Orangewoods’ forward-facing lineup for yourself at CME!

Released on September 30, 1982, Nebraska marked a radical departure for Bruce Springsteen. Recorded entirely alone on a four-track TEAC Portastudio in his Colts Neck, New Jersey bedroom, the album was never intended for release. Springsteen had planned to re-record the songs with the E Street Band, but the raw demos—haunting, intimate, and unvarnished—proved more powerful than any full-band attempt. In their imperfection, he found a truth he couldn’t recreate.
