We’re having a blast fiddling around at Summer NAMM, scoping out all our favorite brands, just up to our necks in new released like a couple of kids in a candy store. I mean, who wouldn’t want to stop for a photo op in front of this massive Marshall wall? We feel like Ted Nugent!

The Martin booth is stacked with exotic tonewoods and innovative new pickup-outfitted models, including a treat or two for the collector.  

Heritage brands like Vox are still going strong with iconic color combos and mid-century energy that never goes out of style. And who would’ve thought Supro would come back? We’re sure glad they did. 

Squier expands its successful collection of affordable classics with new Affinity, Bullett, Classic Vibe, and Contemporary Active models, including a revival of the Starcaster. Fender is pulling out all the stops this year with exotic Acoustasonics, Ultra-light modeling amps and fresh pedals for their ever-growing stompbox arsenal. Fender takes another look at some of its favorite classics, putting additional muscle into new and novel redesigns of the biggest names in combo amps and expands their footprint in the pedal game, introducing new stompboxes with an array of progressive and vintage-inspired tones. 

Taylor’s acoustics are as beautiful as ever with incredible inlays, new sonic innovations, and absolutely stunning tonewoods. 

Guild’s new Aristocrat, Starfire, and Westerly models introduce new technology and aesthetics to some of the brands best and most respected legacies.
