The AX series utilizes a 40mm thinner, lightweight body, allowing intense live performance capabilities on stage. Ibanez Classic Elite humbuckers and 3-way switch enable covering extensive tonal ground, with rich, nuanced tone and a fat low-end. The double-cutaway body makes higher frets more accessible and the Gibraltar Performer bridge and Quik Change III transfer the vibration efficiently and offer superior intonation and sustain.
