2019 ZILDJIAN CYMBALS DEMO WITH GABRIEL WALLACE
Our friend Gabriel Wallace (Gorillaz/manuaLs) does what he does best, getting super creative showing off some unique ways to use the all of the new Zildjian 2019 releases, including the FX Stacks, K Cluster Crashes and the 22" Oriental Crash of Doom. All of which are available now at Chicago Drum Exchange.
FX STACKS
The new Zildjian fx Stacks allow drummers to explore a variety of pitches and quick, brilliant staccato sounds in one versatile cymbal pair. Using the exclusive Cymbolt mount, easily switch from a stack to a traditional Hi Hat setup, transitioning from bright, fast, and cutting sounds to trashy and raw, simply by adjusting the wingnut.
CLUSTER CRASH
Expanding on the Zildjian K line, and exploring new trashy, alterative sounds, the K Cluster Crashes fills your special effects needs without the holes. Characterized by distinct cluster hammer marks and a distinct “dirty” sound. The K Cluster Crashes are extra thin in weight with an unlathed bell and feature the traditional K style hammering technique with additional cluster hammer marks that create a darker, trashier sound with a fast attack and great response.
