This includes the selection of 6L6GC power tubes for most models, which contribute to big, round, and open American-style tone. These tubes are selected with the goal of contributing to their responsive feel and massive headroom, although lower-wattage models utilize 6V6 tubes for earlier breakup and a more mid-forward tone.
