| Cosmetic Condition: | This vintage ES-335 is in very good cosmetic condition for it's age. There is moderate checking throughout. In addition to the checking, there are two minor dings on the neck; one on the heel and one near the heel on the bass side with exposed wood visible. There is light finish chipping along the edges of the headstock face. |
| Serial Number: | #A30079 |
| Tech Notes: | This ES-335 plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The truss rod functions in both direction. The original frets are thin and show moderate wear. Although this instrument has a "T" factory order code and a 1958 serial number, this piece is being dated to 1959 based on the pot codes. This is likely a very early 1959. The guitar formerly belonged to Ray Pohlman of the Wrecking Crew. |
