Finish Details: The body has been fully refinished and the neck has been over-sprayed. In an attempt to display the original finish of the guitar, the top of the body was sanded to remove the black refinish. In doing this, much of the clear coat was removed as well as spots of the original sunburst finish. The back and the sides of the body maintain the black refinish and has considerable buckle rash on the back side. The entirety of the top displays sanding marks, exposed wood, and spots of clear coat.

Hardware: The neck had different tuners at some point. This is confirmed due to presence of dowels in the tuning machine routes. The holes were enlarged to accompany aftermarket tuners and have since been filled and drilled to fit era correct Kluson Deluxe tuners. The saddles, bridge, cavity plate, and knobs appear to be original. The nut and pickguard are not original.
