The edges of the body show some small finish chips. The back of the neck is well worn and discolored with use, but still somewhat glossy. The edges of the headstock show finish wear and some small dings. The metal hardware is lightly tarnished with age. |

The serial number suggests a 1964 date and the neck is stamped "2DEC64B." While all markings on the guitar and most of the stamps on the electronics date to 1964, we are dating this guitar to 1965 due to the most recent pot code date. This is the only 1965 date on the entire guitar. |
