Body Material: Alder

Fingerboard Material: Maple

Neck Thickness (IN): 1st fret - 0.935" / 12th fret - 0.965"
Fingerboard Radius: 9.50"

Weight: 10lbs 7oz
Modifications/Repairs: The guitar has been fully rewired and all electronics have been replaced. Lollar "Blackface" pickups have been installed. The neck has been refretted with jumbo frets. The fret slots were cut deeper than necessary but the frets are level and this is not affecting playability. The bridge, output jack, strap buttons, string tree, and tuners have been replaced. At some point, the body was routed for a humbucker in the bridge position. Foam has been placed underneath the tension springs inside the trem cavity. The pick guard and the nut have been replaced.
Case Details: Hardshell Case
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Stratocaster is in good cosmetic condition with nice wear and aging. Plenty of dents, scratches, discoloration, and scuffs are visible throughout. There are large areas on the top where the clear coat has been sanded down. There are plugged drill holes on the back of the headstock where the tuners were replaced and an unfilled drill hole on the face of the headstock from the previous string tree.
Serial Number: S980983
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are tall with minimal wear. The serial number dates to 1981 and a Fender sticker inside the middle pickup cavity reads "02/27/81".
