Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson Byrdland guitar has aged nicely, with natural checking and light play wear on the glossy finish and an attractive patina on the hardware. There is play wear along the sides of the neck, along with a small gap in the binding at the pointed end of the fretboard.
Serial Number: 7206
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action, and the original frets are low with minor play wear. The serial number dates the guitar to 1961; the 2 piece back is unusual for a 1961 guitar, although the construction was transitioning around this time.
