Neck Details: | One-piece mahogany neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard, double parallelogram pearloid inlays, and truss adjustment at the headstock. -- This has been refretted by one of our in-house techs. The board was planned during this procedure to remedy a maxed truss rod. The truss rod now functions perfectly and plays well with medium gauge strings set to low action. -- There is a repaired crack on the back of the neck at the bass of the headstock. The finish has been touched up through this area. |
Electronics: | Original stamped patent number pickups. Three-way switch with independent volume and tone controls. The two visible pot codes date to 1981 and 1983. |

Cosmetic Condition: | This ES-175 shows light finish checking throughout with a few minor dings and scratches in various areas. There is a small crack in the back of the headstock opposite the nut. This crack has been repaired and the finish touched up. |

Tech Notes: | Currently setup with 12-gauge flatwound strings, low action, and optimal neck relief. The tall wide frets show little to no signs of play wear as they are new. The serial number dates this Gibson from 1984. |
