Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson guitar has aged well and is in good condition. The finish is glossy with extensive finish checking. The body shows wear through the varnish on the top of the lower bout on the bass side and where the pickguard previously was, extending down to that F hole. The back of the body shows some light buckle rash and the back of the neck has a large section of play wear through the clear coat. The edges of the headstock show moderate wear and finish chipping. The back of the headstock shows empty screw holes of previously installed tuners. The metal hardware is lightly tarnished with age.
Serial Number: 435702
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are medium with moderate play wear. The guitar is marked as a factory second. The serial number does not match known records, so the guitar is being dated to 1966 based on the visible pot code.
