| Cosmetic Condition: | This vintage Gibson ES-335 has aged well with attractive signs of wear throughout. Scratches, dents, scuffs, and light finish checking are visible on the body, neck, and headstock. The hardware is nicely tarnished with age. The truss rod cover is missing. |
| Serial Number: | 851342 |
| Tech Notes: | The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are tall with light play wear. This guitar is an unusual example with a 7.25" fingerboard radius. The frets appear to be original, so this may have been a custom order. There is writing in ink on the inside of both F-holes including a different serial number than what is impressed onto the back of the headstock. Because none of this writing appears to be factory original, we are using the serial on the back of the headstock to date the guitar. The serial number impressed on the back of the headstock dates the guitar to 1969. |
