| Tech Notes: | This is a very unique example for this model. The serial number dates to 1968, but the LG-2 was discontinued in 1962. This guitar has all the appointments of an early 60s LG-2 and is clearly stamped "LG-2" inside the sound hole. It is possible that this guitar was left over at Gibson and serialized and released in 1968. We do not know, but it is clearly a genuine Gibson and a very nice player. |
