Cramming all the big, resonant tone and sustain of the legendary 335 into a lighter and more compact instrument, Gibson’s ES-339 has quickly become a modern favorite, and the new 2019 Studio model strips it all the way down to its essentials. The rounded “C”-profile mahogany neck features a solid rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlay. The nickel-plated hardware set provides durability and stable, precise tuning under all conditions, and the dual ’57 Classic humbucking pickups with Memphis Tone Circuit wiring offer classic PAF-era tone with an expanded tonal array for a more versatile playing experience than ever.
