Electronics: The pickup is original. The rest of the electronics have been replaced and the guitar was modified to have only a bridge pickup and a volume pot. The original neck pickup is included in the case.
Pickup Measurements: 8.1k ohms

Modifications/Repairs: There is a crack repair visible on the headstock. This repair is stable and is not affecting playability. After the crack repair, the back of the headstock and the lower half of the face of the headstock were over-sprayed. The neck was refretted. The electronics were modified and only the pickups are original. The neck pickup was removed and the guitar was rewired to have only a bridge pickup and a volume pot. The are four plugged holes visible in the top where the original electronics were removed. These plugs have been touched up with cherry-colored lacquer. The original neck pickup is included in the case. The tuners were replaced and the left over holes were plugged. The pick guard, tailpiece, bridge, strap buttons, and back plate were replaced. There are two plugged holes below the bridge mounting posts to accommodate the new bridge.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson SG is nicely aged and worn. The finish is glossy with plenty of scratches, chips, and dings throughout. There are several visible modifications and repairs.

Tech Notes: This guitar plays well with low action. The frets are tall with minimal wear. The serial number dates to 1974 - 1975.
