Finish Details: Finish appears original
Top Material: Maple
Body Material: Maple
Body Details: Light binding rot. Binding has cracked and has been reglued in a couple places.
Neck Material: Maple
Fingerboard Material: Brazilian Rosewood
Neck Profile: U
Neck Thickness (IN): 1st fret .777", 10th fret .905"
Fingerboard Radius: 12.00"
Nut Width: 1-11/16"
Scale Length: 24 5/8"
Neck Details: Original frets and nut. Nut has been removed at one point, and ends have been taken in slightly. Neck is twisted, with the bass side being higher than the treble side when sighting the neck down its center. Treble side has more relief than bass with tension on the truss rod.
Electronics: Electronics appear original. Era correct lead dress and wiring present. Era HiLo'Trons with pickup selector switch, tone switch, master volume, bridge pickup volume, neck volume, and mute switch.
Pickup Measurements: Neck 3.19K, Bridge 3.13K
Hardware: Hardware appears original.
Weight: 7lbs
Modifications/Repairs: Several parts of the binding have been glued in place.
Case Details: Original hardshell case.
Cosmetic Condition: Guitar is in good condition with moderate wear. The finish has faded to a reddish brown tone, the binding is rotting lightly along the neck pocket, and is cracking in several areas along the body edges. The pickup covers and knobs have some very light green pitting, and hardware is patina'd in general. The pickguard has cracked near the mounting screw and neck pickup.
Serial Number: 52954
Tech Notes: Guitar is currently set up with 10 gauge strings and plays well with the action set at 2/32" on the bass side and 3/32" on the treble side of the neck at the 12th fret. Because the neck is twisted, the action cannot be lowered anymore on the treble side, but plays comfortably for chord work. Frets are narrow and low, showing moderate wear. Serial number dates to 1962.
