I had been told that Zac was happiest being alone in the woods, among the trees and nature. So I decided to do a painting of Zac deep in the woods, all in greens to give the feeling of immersion in the element he loves. Nothing but ferns, trees, and bark here. I added the natural wood pickguard to supplement the theme” - Louis Markoya, protégé to Salvador Dali.
