Description

Finish Details: There are oversprayed and touched up areas on the guitar, including the headstock face and between the soundhole and bridge. There are repaired cracks on the back which have been touched up.

Modifications/Repairs: The bridge plate has been replaced, and the bridge has been previously reglued. The saddle and bridge pins have also been replaced. The neck has been reset and refretted. There are repaired cracks in the top and back of the body, some of which have been touched up, and there is overspray on the top of the body and on the headstock face. Some of the braces have also been reglued.
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Martin 000-18 shows heavy cosmetic wear and aging, with pick scratches, checking, and finish wear throughout. The top and back have several repaired cracks, and the back has heavy buckle rash. Some of the back cracks have been touched up, and there is overspray in areas of the top. The headstock face has also been oversprayed, and the back of the neck has patches of wear.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action, and the frets show minor play wear. There is a slightly cracked back brace at the treble shoulder. The serial number dates to 1954.
