The D-35 David Gilmour is a nod to the guitar David used to record the haunting Pink Floyd classic “Wish you Were Here,” but in many ways, it is an instrument with a style and sound all its own. The David Gilmour signature models are the first D-35s ever with back and sides made from sinker mahogany, which David chose because of its warm, rich tones and exquisitely beautiful grain. We added an Adirondack spruce Vintage Tone System top to give it an old-world sound and matched that with Golden Age Relic Nickel tuners and antique white binding. The signature models are limited to 250 pieces and every label is hand-signed by David himself, ensuring this guitar’s place on every collector’s wish list.
