Revisiting the pair of analog filters from their original Float pedal, Old Blood Noise Endeavors unveils a new version that is both more streamlined and more capable than ever before. The OBNE team has kept the core state variable filter voice that made Float special, cleaned up some of the noise around it, and expanded the control palette to allow far more versatility than before. Each filter can be low pass, band pass, high pass, or any combination of those. It can stay still, or move around according to an envelope or LFO, with ample control over rate, shape, and depth of those motions. Use one side individually for traditional filter sounds, or pair them for brand new explorations.
Float V2 features:
- Parallel mono, series mono, mono-to-stereo, and stereo routing options for the two filters
- Knobs to control Rate, Depth, and Shape of each LFO
- Knobs to set Resonance, Cutoff, Volume, and Envelope Sensitivity for each filter
- Filter mode button to toggle between all possible combinations of low pass, band pass, and high pass filters
- Sync button to synchronize the two sides
- Aux footswitch for tap tempo or preset switching
- Expression control over all main knob parameters
- MIDI control over all parameters, including tempo sync via MIDI clock
- Presets onboard (up to 3) and via MIDI (up to 127)
- 9V center negative DC power
