Being made out of maple, this stick is much lighter than it's hickory counterpart and produces a lighter and quieter tone. The 5B gives the player great response and feel around the kit for any style. This stick features a thicker neck than it's nylon tip cousin, which gives it front-end-balance and extra durability. This is a great feeling stick on the heavier side of things.
