The Crunch Ring is an accessory that can drastically change the sound of any hi-hat, cymbal, or drum. It creates an extremely trashy, Lo-Fi sound and doesn’t completely choke the sound of the instrument that it’s on. This allows it to add a wonderful color without destroying the original sound. The regular version dampens the area from the middle to the edge of the cymbal. It can also be used on a snare drum as a “hoop crasher”.
