Victoria Amplifier Co is proud to announce the introduction of a number of new models to their VICTORIA VINTAGE line up. The Victoria Vintage series reproduces in exact detail, the classic amplifiers of the past, the amps that have defined modern vacuum tube guitar amps.
The “Brown” era and “Black-panel” era have long been cherished for performance and tone that became the standard for guitar amplifier operation and tone. Victoria is now manufacturing exact recreations of the “6G2” and 6G3” style amps, with plans to introduce the “6G4” and the legendary “6G16” style amplifiers in the near future. The “Chestnut Prince” is a loving reproduction of the”6G2” Princeton style amp, with a single custom 10” speaker and tremolo. The “Chestnut Deluxe” is an exact recreation of the 6G3 Deluxe Style from the early ‘60s. 1X12 proprietary speaker and dual channels both featuring bias modulation tremolo. Using only USA made Allen Bradley resistors, proprietary Orange Drop caps and custom wound power and output transformers, these amplifiers are handwired one at a time using all period correct construction methods and component choices. Even the wire is sourced to the original supplier to ensure unmatched vintage tonal quality and presentation. Power tube bias is conveniently adjustable via internal bias pot and current reading resistors.
The “Black-panel” era is represented by the “AB763” Deluxe Reverb style and “AA1064” Princeton Reverb style models. These amps are meticulously hand wired using USA Allen Bradley resistors and proprietary Orange Drop caps and 100% vintage spec power and output transformers, made specifically for Victoria by our longtime supplier in Chicago. No plastic bobbins or mylar insulation is ever used; they are all wound on traditional cardboard tubes with craft paper insulation vacuum impregnated varnish ensuring a lifetime of superior tonal performance. The “Dark Duke Reverb” and the “Dark Prince Reverb” are available now at stocking Victoria dealers. ”The “AB 763” Vibroverb style and “AB763” Vibrolux style amps will see production in late 2026. Victoria Amplifier strives to manufacture the finest vintage correct amplifiers available anywhere. Every effort has been made offer an amp that’s an exact recreation of these valuable classics with none of the uncertainty and hassle of owning, using and maintaining a 60 year old amplifier.
