The Carstens Amplification 1x12 is a split-back extension speaker cabinet. This split-back design gives the player the option of a closed back, or an open back cabinet by simply removing the top back panel. As an open back, the cabinet will offer a natural, open, ambient sound. As a closed back, the cabinet will produce a more focused, punchy and directional sound.
Each cabinet is handmade in the USA using baltic birch and is loaded with one 12" Celestion Cream alnico speaker hand-wired to 8 ohms. This speaker is expressive and responsive with great detail and warmth. With high gain the speaker is smooth and full.
This cab is the perfect compliment to any Carstens Amplification amplifier as well as a great cabinet to accompany any other guitar amplifier.
