| Tech Notes: | -This guitar is one of two prototypes built by Pau Waller in in approximately 2014. These were never released to the public and this one was eventually gifted to a Fender employee. -The COA is dated to 2018, this is because a COA was never included in the first place and was requested by an owner in 2018. When Fender remakes a COA they date it for the day it was filled out. -The guitar also has a serial number that is a duplicate with a Ltd. Ed. Relic 59 Strat-pro jr. Set DNB. Duplicate serial numbers are rare for Fender but they do happen. Because this is a prototype that was never released, the duplicate serial is not so surprising. -There is a copy of an email correspondence with Fender Custom Shop included in the case that clarifies all of this. |
