Cosmetic Condition: | The guitar shows light play wear for its age; there are light finish scratches and dings throughout the body and neck. There is some heavier scratching along the face of the treble horn, as well as on the pickup cover. There are a couple old finish touchups on the back of the body which appear consistent with the rest of the body under a blacklight. There are a few more un-retouched finish dings behind the bridge and on the back of the body; there is also a number and initials engraved on the neck plate. |

Tech Notes: | Currently set up with low action and minimal neck relief; there is no adjustable truss rod but the instrument sets up well. The frets are narrow and low with light play wear. The non-original pots date to 1973, while the neck stamp dates to 1964. The serial numbers for Mandocasters do not follow typical Fender serialization standards, and so the neck stamp is used to authenticate the year. |
