Fingerboard Radius: 7.25"
Nut Width: 1-5/8"
Scale Length: 25 1/2"
Electronics: Original single coil Fender pickups, and original wiring harness with 3-way switch and master volume/tone controls. The pot codes date to 1953.
Pickup Measurements: 6.4k (neck), 6.5k (bridge)
Hardware: Original
Weight: 7lbs
Case Details: Original Hardshell Case
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Fender Telecaster has aged nicely, with checking, small dings, and other authentic wear present. The back of the body has moderately heavy buckle rash and wear, and the back of the neck has lots of play wear present. The fretboard shows finger wear as well.
Serial Number: 2126
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action, and the narrow frets show moderate play wear. The neck heel and neck pocket both have 1953 pencil marks. There is a very small section of "chip away" by the 16th fret and the headstock decal does not have a bright halo around it under black light like some other Blackguards we've had, but there are no signs of the finish or the frets not being original. This guitar was purchased from one of the world's most knowledgable collectors who purchased it from the family of the original owner and it was described as being loved and played but never modified
