This instrument exclusively features woods hand-picked by CME’s expert guitar-buying team at the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, paired with one of our favorite finishes, plus a thoughtful combination of preferred fingerboards, neck profiles, pickups, and hardware, to make this customized Gibson guitar.
As the choice of Rock 'n Roll legends for decades, the original SG Special represented simplicity, versatility, and monster tone. This Historic recreation is a clone of the cherished vintage originals with all the modern playability and reliability you expect from Custom Shop. It features authentic profiles, specs and construction methods for an incredible playing and ownership experience.
