Cosmetic Condition: The first year Es-335 is extremely clean for its age. The finish is glossy with only minor scuffs and surface scratches. Most of the wear on this guitar is on the face and around the edges of the headstock. There is also wear on the top around the thumbwheels under the bridge from previous owners adjusting the action. In addition to very light wear from use, There is a very small circular dot, (roughly 3/16 of an inch in diameter) on the top, directly behind the bridge where the finish was affected by, more than likely, a small rhinestone or some kind of adhesive decoration. It is very hard to see unless you are using black light. The metal hardware is all in very good condition and nicely tarnished with age.
Serial Number: A28098
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are are small with medium height and light play wear. The serial number dates to 1958. The pot codes date to 1958.
