The Crossroads Deluxe is a whole other animal than the standard Crossroads, though they are both built in the same mold. The Deluxe is a full 4-5/8" deep for a big presence, and the standard curly maple back and sides conjure up the clean, crisp essence of all maple guitars. The package includes an all-over dark sunburst and clean, three-line purfling snuggled against bright ivoroid binding. The neck is also crafted from curly maple.
