Finish Details: The finish appears to be original except for areas of touchup over and around the crack repairs.

Neck Profile: Subtle "V" Shape
Neck Thickness (IN): 1st. Fret: .78" & 9th. Fret: 1.00"
Fingerboard Radius: No Radius
Nut Width: 1-13/16"

Electronics: None.
Hardware: The tuners have been replaced. The original tuners are included in the case but are broken.
Weight: 3lbs 1oz
Modifications/Repairs: The bridge has been reglued, there are numerous crack repairs on the top of the body, and the nut has been replaced.
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Martin is in good cosmetic condition for it's age. There are crack repairs visible on the top as well as dings, dents, scratches, and checking throughout.
Tech Notes: This Martin plays well with medium action. The frets are tall and show little wear. This guitar has an interesting "bolt on" neck construction which includes a key for accessing the recessed neck bolt. This design allows the neck angle to be adjusted relatively easily. This instrument was previously apart of the Chinery Collection and is documented in their 1996 edition book titled "The Chinery Collection." On page 15, there is are front and side profile pictures of this particular guitar with a passage explaining it's origins and design. According to the Chinery Collection book, this is most likely a one off custom made by a Martin employee. The book dates the guitar to the 1890s.
