ISO-COAT® PATENTED CABLE RELIABILITY
Corrosion at the cable termination is one of the most common causes of instrument cable failure. ISO-COAT® technology creates a structurally reinforced, hermetic seal over solder terminations and exposed copper conductors. This permanently seals the cable termination against oxygen, moisture and atmospheric contamination – the primary causes of cable failure and sonic degradation over time. By protecting the termination, ISO-COAT® helps maintain electrical performance, durability and signal integrity for the long term. ISO-COAT® has undergone independent testing by an A2LA-accredited laboratory in accordance with ISO 9227 (Salt Spray Testing) and MIL-STD-202 Method 101 (Salt Atmosphere).
