Ideal for that demanding touch-sensitive, nuanced responsivity at the low end of the gain and power spectrum, with a harmonically rich blend of vintage power-amp overdrive when turned up, a lower-powered amp like either of the new Falcon combos is key to achieving that cranked power amp sound without overwhelming volume levels.
With a focus on great tone and ease of use, the Falcon 5 (1x10), Falcon 20 (1x12), and Dual Falcon (2x10) feature a simple, pure signal path design, with controls consisting of Volume and Tone, but with added Reverb—an uncommon, yet, welcome feature on tube amps of this size and wattage.
