INTRODUCING | ATKIN GUITARS
English Acoustics With Soul
Atkin Guitars' aim is simple: build the best.
Founded in Canterbury, England, in 1995, Atkin Guitars uses a combination of traditional techniques and a little modern technology to handcraft around 350 guitars a year, imbued with the indefinable qualities that delight, surprise, and inspire us even after decades as players.
Founder Alister Atkin and his team of six seek to bring out the instrument's very soul in each Atkin model, focusing on what makes an acoustic what it is and what keeps it from being everything that it can be.
As it turns out, what's true for Atkin is also true for most things: Feel is foremost. Filigree is frivolous. Personality is paramount, and most importantly, what's best is always best.
