Yamaha | 2025 Revstar Additions
Rev up Your Engines to Pick up these Performance-Minded Yamaha Guitars!
Since 2015, Yamaha’s Revstar line of guitars has been designed to deliver a mixture of versatility, performance power, and unique personality! Inspired by Cafe racer motorcycles, which have been popular in the worldwide biking community for their focus on visual simplicity and raw sporting capability, each Yamaha Revstar Standard guitar features more than a few surprises under the hood. The newest Revstar RSS20 and RSS02T showcase several striking new finishes, and are now available at CME, so call, click, or come into our Lincoln Avenue showroom to be among the first to add these guitars to your tonal arsenal!

Each Revstar Standard RSS20 and RSS02T starts out with a chambered mahogany body and maple cap, which sculpts tone and reduces weight. Each neck is loaded with carbon reinforcement to improve vibration transfer for added resonance. Choose between Alnico 5 Humbuckers (RSS20) for that classic hot-rodded tone with a cutting midrange, or P90-style single coils (RSS02T) for that timeless warmth and fat low-end response. The Revstar Standard features a 5-way pickup selector switch, with subtle phase shifting in positions 2 and 4 to add an extra dimension to the depth of the tone.
Focus Your Sound
The Revstar Standard RSS20 and RSS02T have a push/pull feature on the tone control that activates a passive boost. When you need that extra tonal punch, pull the tone control to gain an effect similar to overwound pickups: a more aggressive attack, with darker highs, cutting mids, and thunderous lows!
