Carlos Lopez spent 16 years as a Master Builder at Fender's Custom Shop. Then he walked away to build guitars with his family instead.That's Castedosa — hand-built boutique electrics, pickups wound by his wife Stephanie, named after the family itself. Now Castedosa Guitars: The El Caballo Tour with Special Guest Broken Spindles is stopping at CME, and the whole family is coming with it. Tuesday, September 15th, 6:30–8:00 PM. No formal presentation — just a relaxed meet and greet with Carlos, Stephanie, and their kids Dorian and Savannah. Watch live pickup winding and wiring on-site, catch a live set from Broken Spindles, and stick around for a shot at winning a set of TS-Humbuckers. Come hang! Free to attend, RSVP encouraged!

Chicago Music Exchange and Porsche Downtown Chicago are teaming up for one unforgettable night in Chicago.

Join us Thursday, June 25th from 5pm–9pm at 570 W Monroe St for an exclusive evening of fast cars, legendary guitars, live music, giveaways, food, drinks, and hands-on access to some of the rarest instruments inside The Vault at CME. 

Plug into an incredible collection of guitars, catch live performances from the CME House Band, and experience a guitar clinic by Reb Beach of Winger presented by Suhr Guitars. Throughout the night, guests will also have chances to win exclusive giveaways including guitars and tickets to see Zac Brown Band live on tour. RSVP is highly encouraged — this is one summer night you do NOT want to miss.
