Description
The Starplayer III is a semi-acoustic guitar with a flat top and bottom, traditionally curved frames, two pickups, 22 frets and a 648 mm scale.
Following the footsteps of the very first Starplayer guitar, the Starplayer III represents the very early Duesenberg design with a flat top, a flat bottom and a classic rosewood veneer on the top plate. Then as now we use laminated spruce and also laminated maple for the body.
Already in the first years we realized that with the combination of a sound balanced humbucker on the bridge and a dynamic P90 single coil on the neck the best of two worlds could be combined in one guitar. Therefore, the model also includes the traditionally wrapped GrandVintage humbucker and the Domino P90.
Each of our instruments is equipped with our own hardware. From mechanical buttons to bushing plates, we design them with the utmost dedication to the little details, to build instruments that are unique and completely unique.
All our instruments are laboriously carved and crafted to achieve the best playability and silky feel they are known for.
