| Modifications/Repairs: | Several cracks in the top have been repaired and are structurally stable. Some of the binding on the body has been reglued from the top of the bass side waist to upper bout. A crack on the back of the neck running behind the nut to the first fret has been repaired, and a short fingerboard separation on the treble side has also been repaired. The truss rod and its cover has been replaced. The pickguard has also been replaced. The neck has been refretted. The finish has been over-sprayed. The bridge has also been replaced. Several of the tuner bushings are non-original. The heel cap has also been replaced. |

| Cosmetic Condition: | This vintage Epiphone guitar has aged well and is in good condition. The finish is glossy with shallow dings and dents and light scratches throughout. The top shows several repaired cracks running down from the sound hole to the end of the body, with another on the upper bout near the pickguard. The binding has a crack on the bass side of the upper bout, with a small gap, but has been secured. The back of the waist has a small binding separation on the treble side, but this binding is otherwise stable. The face of the headstock has finish wear around its edges and some scratching from string ends. |
