| Cosmetic Condition: | This vintage Gibson bass is in very good condition for its age, with mild checking and only minor play wear present on the glossy finish. There is a small blemish on the treble side of the headstock, and the hardware has a nice patina. Most of the black finish on the pickups has worn away. |
| Serial Number: | 49076 |
| Tech Notes: | The bass plays well with low action; the truss rod has limited adjustability, and so the bass sets up well with medium gauge strings or heavier. The bass was a factory second, and a small wood spline is visible under the finish on the back, near the bass side of the heel. The serial number dates to 1962. |
