For the all-new Gibson ELEV8 pickups, we are, for the first time, utilizing powerful Alnico 8 magnets harnessed within coils of custom-gauge wire to set the stage for a series of pickups that modern players will use to shape and define the Gibson tones of the future.

The all-new Gibson ELEV8 pickups deliver powerful, focused tones with an intensity that doesn’t sacrifice articulation, clarity, and dynamic control. The pairing of Alnico 8 magnets with custom-gauge wire allows for a wide variety of tones with a tighter low-end that is ideal for high-gain and modern styles. The ELEV8 Plus (15k ohms) is thoughtfully overwound to pair perfectly with the standard ELEV8 in the neck position. The ELEV8 Plus raises your tone to the top with powerful voicing and tight bass response that’s well- suited for high-gain applications.
