Finish Details: The guitar has many black finish touchups on the front, sides, and back of the body, as well as at the heel. The neck has been refinished.

Case Details: Hardshell Case
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson ES-175 shows moderate cosmetic wear and aging, with checking and assorted small chips throughout the glossy finish. The body has many black touchups, along with areas of black overspray, and these are most concentrated around the heel and the sides of the body. The neck has been refinished and has checking as well. There appear to be repaired cracks in the heel concealed by the black lacquer, which may have been the result of a break or a neck reset resulting in damage.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and the narrow frets are low with light wear. The serial number on the inside orange label dates the guitar to 1955.
