| Cosmetic Condition: | The guitar is in good cosmetic condition with expected signs of aging and play wear. There is wear around the sound hole, and light scratches around the fretboard tongue. There is a small crack in the center seam just above the sound hole. This crack is stable and does not affect playability. At one point, an oversized bridge was installed. It has since been removed and replaced with a more period-correct bridge, although the impression from the previous bridge is still visible. The area has been finished over and touched up. There are scratches in the finish on the bass side lower bout. There is a repaired split in the wood on the bass side of the body near the endpin. |
