Electronics: The bridge pickup has been replaced with a Gibson USA embossed humbucker. The guitar has that humbucker, a patent number embossed humbucker in the neck position, a three-way selector switch, two volume pots, and two tone pots. The pot codes date to 1976.
Pickup Measurements: neck - 6.0 kΩ, bridge - 10.2 kΩ
Hardware: The strap buttons have been replaced with strap locks. The nut has been replaced with a bone nut. The neck has been refretted. The pickup rings, knobs, pickguard, and bridge have been replaced. All other hardware is original.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson guitar has aged well and is in good condition. The finish is glossy with light surface scratches throughout. The top has some shallow scrapes near the treble side thumb wheel of the bridge. There is finish checking running along the sides at the seams of the two halves of the body. The bridge pickup ring shows some small cracks. The back of the body shows buckle rash. The edges of the end of the headstock are worn with some light finish chips. The binding of the headstock shows finish checking. The metal hardware is lightly tarnished with age.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are medium with minor play wear. The serial number dates to 1976.
