Electronics: The pickups are original Gibson Patent Applied For humbuckers; the covers have been removed and reinstalled. The ground wire to the bridge has been replaced, and the connection to the output jack has been spliced with a short lead. The remainder of the harness is original, with 1961 pot codes.
Pickup Measurements: 7.5k (neck), 7.3k (bridge)
Hardware: The bridge, tuners, and pickguard screws are replaced. The treble side bridge post and thumbwheel are replaced as well.

Case Details: Original Hardshell Case
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Gibson SG is in good condition, with only a few spots of wear on the glossy finish. There is finish chipping on the top of the treble horn, as well as a repaired crack in the body near the output jack (extending to the back of the body). The back of the neck is glossy and smooth, and the hardware is lightly tarnished.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with medium-low action; the neck is very straight even with the truss rod fully loosened, but the guitar sets up well with 10 gauge strings. The wide frets are low with moderate play wear. The serial number dates the guitar to 1961.
